New York City transit map

Bus stops appear from street level zoom; Citi Bike stations from neighborhood zoom. Departure times: “Live” from MTA real-time feeds when available, otherwise “Scheduled”. Data may not be real time. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Line colors are used for identification only; this map is not the official MTA map.

How to use the map

  • Find a place: type a station, stop or line in the search box, then pick a station or stop to zoom to it (a line opens its own page).
  • Next departures: select a station or stop to see its next trains, buses or boats, then follow the link to its page for exits, elevators, alerts and the full schedule.
  • Layers: use the buttons above the map to show or hide subway, LIRR and Metro-North, ferries and AirTrain, bus stops and Citi Bike. Bus stops appear once you zoom to street level and Citi Bike stations at neighborhood level, so the map stays readable.
  • Live or scheduled: “Live” times come from MTA real-time feeds; when no real-time data is published, the time shown is the scheduled one.
